BLURB: In this final installment of the Parched novel series, the world has certainly been changed–and not for the better.

The sun has disappeared and the Evil, by way of Lario Exgesis, has been successful in creating a deadlier vampire species.

Fortunately, the Daughters of Benel and Sons of Gogulon were created specifically for these times and they will not quit fighting until they’ve landed the crushing blow that supplants the outcome in which the Evil has been working to achieve from the very beginning.

BLURB:Some people keep diaries that merely record trite tidbits of their daily life.

Dorothy Rose Nolte Hughes had one of those. But after her passing, her cherished granddaughter Cherry found another one that proved to be the  tell-it-like-it-really-is version.  It revealed family secrets that may have otherwise been buried forever.

Granny’s spunk shined radiantly through it; she’d turned some colorful phrases one could describe as “earthy,” perhaps even blushworthy.
And she’d planted clues.
For Cherry and husband Gene, who with their six Doxie kids, had spent their every day with Granny during her physically challenging last months, this new-found treasure was delightfully funny. And curiously puzzling. They began to wonder whether truth could be found in fairy tales.
They decided to find the pieces that complete this puzzle that could be the best fairy tale ever.

Cover: “Dominio Della Morte” by Dylan J. Morgan

Author Dylan J. Morgan contacted me about doing a cover for his collection of short horror stories due for release with in the next month or two. He wanted something dark, depicting a scene from one of the stories describing a bleak, barren field of bones. One in particular appearing “as if the body was trying to eat its way out of the earth”, dangling withered strand of optic nerve and all!  I had a lot of fun with this one.

BLURB: Mabel Wickles has just entered the computer age.  And not a minute too soon.  With strange lights emanating from the empty house next door, her dear friend Charlie Thompson accused of murdering a woman, and a new sheriff in town who seems totally unqualified, will this senior sleuth use her new little laptop to dig up some clues?  After all, she is Parson’s Cove’s most highly decorated amateur detective.  (She’s Parson’s Cove’s only amateur detective.)  But with her best friend Flori Flanders and her computer mentor Nathan Horne to support her, maybe Mabel can solve these seemingly unrelated mysteries and not have to disturb the town’s favorite Sheriff––Reg Smee––who is just starting to enjoy his retirement in Hawaii.  That is, if she can figure out how to crack all the new-fangled computer jargon and SAVE AS MURDER.

BLURB: Four teens become friends, giving one another alibis for getting out of the house.  One teen is amply endowed, another is of mixed blood, the third is overly fashion conscious, while the fourth is demurely pretty and the result of an unwanted pregnancy. The fourth has both parents at home but they aren’t thrilled about raising a child.  What began as recreation for the kids is now an ingrained habit as they continue to drink, smoke pot, and use drugs to accept the reality into which they were born. Trinity reads volumes in hopes of college, Sandrine is a drama queen, Mesha’s only sister is murdered, and Cali wishes she’d been born as Dr. Seuss’s offspring.  Their merry-go-round of life continually circles but gold rings are scarce as the world lies restless and hopeful as teens beg to differ with one another about their future.
